Ingredients:
For the Stromboli:
1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
6 slices of your favorite cheese (e.g., mozzarella, provolone)
6 slices of ham
12 slices of pepperoni
12 slices of salami
1/2 cup pasta sauce
1/2 cup diced peppers (bell peppers or any color you prefer)
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Garlic Butter Glaze:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or use dried parsley)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (adjust to taste)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Glaze:
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
Add minced garlic, chopped parsley, and Italian seasoning to the melted butter.
Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Set aside.
Prepare the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape. It should be approximately 12×16 inches or as large as you prefer.
Layer the Ingredients:
Place the slices of cheese in the center of the dough, leaving a border along the edges.
Layer the ham, pepperoni, salami, diced peppers, and pasta sauce on top of the cheese.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Fold and Seal:
Carefully fold the sides of the dough over the filling to encase it.
Tuck in the ends to create a sealed rectangular shape.
Place the Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush with Garlic Butter:
Brush the top of the Stromboli with the prepared garlic butter glaze, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the Stromboli is golden brown and cooked through.
Rest and Slice:
Allow the Stromboli to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. This helps the filling set and makes it easier to cut.
Serve:
Slice the Pizza-Stuffed Stromboli into portions and serve. You can enjoy it as a meal or a delicious snack.
